Character: Xanther Nolan Chase
--------------------

1) Does your character's name have any special relevance?

- kind of.

Xanther- Xan's parents wanted to name hi something exotic so they decided that it had to start with an 'X' and then they chose to use their utual favorite animal, the panther.

Nolan- Xanther's father, Shipley, was on a team of people who were effected by moon radiation and developed abilities. The leader of this team was a man naed Nolan who posessed the power of light, to make a long story short, after a long battle against "moon predetors" Nolan sacrificed himself to save the rest of the team. Shipley decided to honor him by giving Nolan's name to his son.

Chase- It's just his last name. ^-^

2) Is your character 'normal' among others of their type [i.e. are they some kind of freaky mutant creature compared to others of their race or are they just part of the pack?]

Xanther looks normal, except for his eyes, so he can usually pass as a normal young man.

3) Now that the formalities are out of the way, let's do a little physical description:

a) Hair?

Xanther's hair is fairly normal, it's deep midnight black and cut boy's length short, however it's longer in the front to accomodate for his "emo bangs".

b) Skin?

Xanther's skin is unusually pale even though he spends time in the sunlight. He does, however, have a few long purple marks on his wrists, back, and arms. The last two were caused by his sister when she went crazy on him and tried to kill him (two diffrent times) the wrists, though, are self inflicted.

c) Eyes?

Xan's eyes are, really, the only part of him that gives away his moon radiation inheritence. They are a vibrant amethyst color that turn black when he goes into a rage.

d) anything else we should be aware of? Wings, tails etc.?

When he's in his "moon form" He has black feather wings that allow him to fly.

4) That was certainly informative. Lets delve deeper. Does your character have any genetic quirks or mutations [i.e. 11 fingers instead of 10 if human?]

About the only thing I haven't said yet is that because of the radiation, his blood has a sort of siler hue to it.



5) Any special powers to look out for?

Why, yes he does.

Because Shipley had Moon radiation, he passed it along to his son. Because of this Xanther's fate is tied to the element, darkness, which he can manipulate and create.

6) How old is your character? Is this young or old or in-between for their race?

Xanther is 16 years old, since he is really only human, this means he truly is 16

7) Is there anything NORMAL about your character? [if you haven't stated it before]

He looks human, and still has to deal with human problems, on top of the "moon predetor" problems.

8) Anything else you want to say?

Xanther's Only real weakness in his Moon form is the element light which, ironically enough, is his boyfriend's element.

Xanther is the leader of the new team. because all of the old team died except the old earth and water members, who can no longer fight.

Xanther's mom died when a moon predetor attacked her and later Xanther's dad killed this moon predetor but died later from his injuries. Shipley had been able to control fire.
